Registration is still open for one of the most important events of the year that is destined to remain etched in the memory of racing fans

There is great anticipation for the Circuito Stradale del Mugello, a classic regularity race that this year will have the privilege of giving new life to the legendary Gran Premio del Mugello, which has its origins back in 1914, a date that gives it the prestige of being one of the oldest events in our country.

A commemoration desired by Automobile Club d’Italia, Automobile Club Firenze and Club ACI Storico, that will be held from April 29 to May 1, with the organization of Scuderia Automobilistica Clemente Biondetti.

The event program, inserted in an enchanting scenery that will go through the most evocative landscapes of Tuscany, will immerse racing crews in a scenario that will take them back in time, retracing roads that have seen the heroic deeds of drivers who have made great the Gran Permio del Mugello until 1970, year of its last edition.

In this 2022 the weekend is structured on two days of competition, which will have as headquarters the prestigious Grand Hotel Baglioni, located in Florence. Just from the Tuscan capital, after the scrutineerings scheduled on Friday, the race will be in full swing on Saturday, when cars will head to the Chianti hills, through fascinating places such as Radda and Castellina in Chianti, Colle di Val D’Elsa, San Gimignano, San Miniato and Vinci. On Sunday racing crews are called to confront themselves on the historical Gran Permio del Mugello track, passing San Piero a Sieve, Scarperia, Passo del Giogo, Firenzuola, Passo della Futa and Barberino. The Mugello Circuit, considered one of the most important racetracks in Europe, will be the ideal setting where the awards ceremonies will be held.

Registrations are open to cars manufactured until 1990 to participate in the race of Classic Regularity. Gran Turismo road cars manufactured from 1991, will be able to register to the Tributo to the Circuito Stradale del Mugello.
